The final score for Saturdays Meet was SL 628 TV 401. San Leandro finished 4th place last year and this was a good showing against them.

 

Mission Valley Meet
Our next meet is this Saturday July 24 vs Mission Valley. This is a HOME meet. This is also our last DUAL meet. The theme is Halloween/Disney. Either wear ghastly costumes or wear Disney themed items.


We will have the events and jobs posted by Friday Morning.

11 & Up Warm up at 7:00 AM
10 & Under Warm up at 7:30AM

Meet will start promptly at 8:00 AM.

It has been Treeview’s tradition to allow the swimmer’s to choose the events they swim in the last dual meet. They can either choose 3 individual and 1 relay or 2 individual and 2 relays. If they want to forego relays they can do that also. Choose on the Orange Board

Garin Camp Out
A lot of good food and a lot of good times at this past weekends 3rd Annual Garin Camping trip. This is one of our more popular events as the parents can relax, chat and get some downtime while the kids roam around the park.

2010 EBSL Championships
The Coaches and the Board have determined the 100 swimmers who are going to the EBSL Championships, if you have not been called your swimmer(s) are going. Thank You to those who volunteered not to swim. We really appreciate this as the worst part of our job is telling a swimmer they cannot participate.

All swimmers whether they are going to Championships or not will receive our Championship Tee shirt and EBSL Championship book.

Even if you are not participating in the Championships we WANT you to come to the events leading up to Championships. In fact, most of the kids love this week the best because the practices are tapered. I did not know what this meant when I first was on the team so I looked it up. Taper: "the reduction of workload during a period immediately prior to a major competition."

 

OH, PRACTICES ARE EASIER. Plus breakfast everyday. Now, you know why they like this week so much.

We have posted a list of donations of breakfast items for the championship breakfast.

We still need some donations to help make this a success. Please take a look on the Orange Board and see what you can bring.

Pasta, Salad, Garlic Bread Adults $5. Swimmer and Future Swimmers (free). We will also be making Championship Posters.

 

 

Shave Down Party (At the Pellegrini’s) July 30 6PM-9PM
For those 13+, the Pellegrini’s are hosting a shave down party. 

 

11-12 Party (At the Navarro’s) July 30 6PM-8PM
For those 11-12 year old’s, the Navarro’s are hosting a party. It will be potluck.

 

Recycling
We recently made our SECOND redemption of CRV cans and bottles. We have close to $150. Please continue dropping them off at any practice, which will help subsidize our year-end awards.
